About This Site

SilverZine was created by Alex Knight of xamling.net as a resource for designers using Silverlight.

There is plenty of sites out there dedicated to developers and code related tutorials on how to build Silverlight applications but we wanted to create something specifically directed towards the graphically inclined.

Silverlight is a great platform for both developers and designers and provides the tools like Expresison Blend and Expression Design to help designers get right into the thick of it and have creative control all the way to the end of a project.

If you have done some graphics work within Silverlight, we would love to hear from you so drop us a line with some links to what you have a made and we might even feature it on the site!

Don't forget to grab the feed and follow us on twitter for updates on the site.

Thanks and please feel free to send us feedback on your thoughts of the site in our Contact Us section

Great website! Glad to see it is now up.

We desperately need more designer focused Silverlight and not just programming tutorials.

Hey Alex. Kudos for this website. I'll make sure we make noise about it. Tim Heuer and others in Microsoft are very excited about this. So am I :)

Dabbled a little in WPF and now focusing on creating Silverlight controls for the web. You are my new best friend. Thanks for putting this together.

Great site! The community really needs this. That's part of the reason for starting my blog (blendesigner) on Silverlight design. I would be happy to contribute. .toolbox was a great step in the right direction and sites like yours are extremely helpful with bringing great design and designers to Silverlight.
